Tori Rose Hunter

Tori Hunter is an American screenwriter and film director who began her career as a script supervisor. Growing up as a competitive multi-sport athlete in a small town, she never imagined herself to be a filmmaker one day, but a coach.

She spent the first two decades of her life playing year-round travel softball and living great comeback stories rather than writing them. After playing for two years in college, she found filmmaking and redirected her life in its pursuit, not neglecting to take her strong work ethic and ability to be a team player with her.

​​After graduating from the University of Georgia, she spent over half a decade script supervising a wide array of projects with many notable actors and directors. With this experience under her belt, she recently directed the comedic family holiday film, The Christmas Letter, as her feature directorial debut with Randy Quaid, Chevy Chase, and Brian Doyle-Murray.
